Amazing and comfortable and enjoyable to stay for the week and tour the town and buy antiques. The wife of the owner has a few antique shops across Southern Louisiana and she also has a handsome collections of antiques for sale in the restaurant. My wife had a blast and I couldn't get her to sit down and have her dinner. The menu diversity is excellent, from Cajun to authentic French creole cooking. Major Morel is never far from the table, constantly checking to make sure everything is going smoothly and enjoyably. They should be Zagat rated for at least 4.5 stars or more. We loved eating here.
