He never grew out of it, but he did learn how to manage it with sleep, ice and aspirin when it got really bad.At age 14 he hurt his neck doing squats. The bar rolled onto his neck area and it felt a pop. He did not have pain at first but after he finished working out he started to have a headache and felt numbness down his arm. Several days went by and the migraine got worst, burning pain going down his right and left arm and his neck pain increased. He went to a medical doctor, orthopedic doctor and then a neurologist. They all gave him medication and said it would go away. Two months later he was still suffering, and then they said nothing was wrong and referred him to a psychiatrist. His mom said thanks, but no thanks, we will find a better doctor. The next time he went to a doctor they were in a chiropractic office looking at his x-rays. He said theres your problem and took care of it. As a 14 year old he then realized that medical doctors didnt know everything or have all the answers.From that time on he loved Chiropractics because it gave him hope and saved his life.
