I got a reply with a reasonable amount (the lowest of 5 places I contacted), so I told them I would bring it in when the fabric I ordered arrived. I had to arrange to get a van since I don't have a vehicle large enough to transport the chair. When my husband and I arrived with the chair and fabric, we were told it would be more expensive than we were quoted. I told them who I had talked to, but apparently that was someone at the Charlotte location and their rates were very different. The Raleigh location does not have an upholsterer on site, so they send everything to High Point and you have to pay for the transportation. Also, since I didn't order the fabric through them, that was going to add another 25%. The lady at the store seemed very irritated at us. I felt that they should have mentioned the additional charge for having my own fabric and they should have asked what location I would be going to since I had no idea the pricing would be different. The final price ended up being higher than any of the other quotes I had gotten, so there was no way I was going to leave the chair there."
