Worst paint job ever. Not only did the estimate he gave to the paint house double after he started, but rooms were painted incorrect colors and in poor quality. When cleaning baseboards and doors they peel. The advertisment says he specializes in victorians, so thats why he was hired for this house. His work was one short cut after the next. Paint was peeling after just a couple months, he offered to fix the kitchen which was the worst. What he said was going to take 5 days to strip his first paint job paint off, and fix it correctly turned into a short cut fix once again and he "fixed" the problem in one afternoon. My husband had to sand and peel off all the paint and repaint. when asked about his poor paint job again he became rude, defensive and stareted screaming. There are many quality painting companies out there, dont waste your money and time on this one.

DONT HIRE HIM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he paint latex over oil base and the paint doesnt stick it peels off to the touch.then when he said he would fix it he just sanded"sandman yeah right" the parts that peeled. i also set up a game camera in the living room cause we just moved in .i told him to use the kitchen side door and there was no reason to come into the rest of the house.. plus i didnt want paint dust all over my stuff.. i left, a hour later my camera caught him going into my wifes room . in my opinion hes not a professional.. i would trust him or hire him. My house was supposed to be completed by the time we returned from our Thanksgiving vacation. I'ts now January 6th 2010 and It is still not finished. The last phone call of mine Larry returned was 2 weeks ago when he told me some one would be there in 10 minutes. No one ever showed up. We paid for most of the job up front so I guess I'll be finishing the job myself. I can't afford to hire another painter.

Mr. Hurt came to my house in AUGUST and gave me an etimate for painting my house. I thought he was a nice Christian man , so I gave him the business. Well, he did paint my house, and found that my side door nedded replacing, so told me that the door cost $200 and he would order it, then return to replace the door and finish painting the two doors. (front and side doors) I thought that would be okay, and since he had pretty much done everthing he said he would do. He told me he would need the $200 to order the door. I wrote him a check and have not seen him since, I talked to him on the phone a few times and he just fed me a line of garbage saying he was coming this week or that, but never came through with his promises. He had already been paid for the entire job ( my money was paid to him on time no problem or excuse) but, he stole my $200 for the door and did not finish painting the front or side doors. I consisder this man a thief and a liar! He is not trustworthy! Beware of his service becuase you will get robbed. It is now DECEMBER and my house looks horrible without the work being completed.
