So glad I found Morey. Had a different company come out to check on air conditioning unit. The guy got lost on his way here, and of course was late. He looked at it for 10 minutes and just said buy a new one, we can install it tomorrow for $5K, then wanted to come to my house to "fix" anything else he could think of. Tech from Morey got here on time, no dumb questions, thoroughly inspected and even cleaned up the unit, fixed some of the insulation that had come loose, cleaned and inspected the ducts inside and out. Then gave me several options and suggestions. Did the repairs on time without interrupting my business and even came in a little under the estimate. I now have a three year service contract with Morey and feel relieved.

They went to my house charged $90.95 to clean a sensor. They heater wasnВ’t yet working as it should. I called again and another technician came who identified apparently a second issue and to extra charge $400.00 and didnВ’t want to apply what was paid couple days before for poor service and doing nothing. His technician Mark was rude, raised his voice and didnВ’t want to leave my property В– just an unacceptable behavior. Today I faxed a letter to the owner, Mr. Barr and their management team but they care less and didnВ’t apologize. Shame on them. They shouldnВ’t be in business. If they continue practicing unethical behavior they wonВ’t be in business for too long. Shame on them! The DON"T deserve to have any customers. I contacted the BBB for a refund. ZERO stars for them. ZERO!

I hired A-1 United to service my air conditioner last year. They found the unit to be very low on Freon and replaced the Freon. They informed me that everything else looked great and charged me $365 for 5 lbs of Freon and labor. I then found that at first use this year the air conditioner was not blowing cold air again. I had someone else come to look at it and it was low on Freon again. After speaking with several HVAC service companies I've learned that the fact that my system needed 5 lbs of Freon last year pointed to an obvious leak in the system. Had A-1 United simply told me my system had a leak I would have been able to fix it last year and not have to pay for Freon twice. I called A-1 United and spoke with their service manager to discuss my concerns. He was unwilling to do anything to own up to his company's mistake. I fully believe that A-1 has a large staff of great techs but one obviously was not sent to my home. A reputable company would have understood this and taken care of their customer. I was very shocked to be so callously shrugged off by the heating and air company that is consistently rated Best of Omaha.

My husband and I were all set to buy a new furnace from Lowe's when we heard from a friend of ours that Southern California Edison could give us rebates on our installation. We found Airwest through the SCE website and called them for a quote. Dave (the owner), came out to see us. He was very professional and explained to us how the rebates worked. We liked how there were no gimmicks, no sales pressure. We just signed a contract with Airwest and look forward to seeing the kind of work they do.

AIRWORST is what they should be called. Had them install an a/c unit 4 years ago. Just found out that what they installed was not what it said on my invoice(installed a cheaper model). Not only that, I paid $95 to have them come up and tell me what was wrong with my a/c. they told me the compressor was out. I asked for a price of how much it will cost me to fix it - $931 with a 90 day parts & labor warranty. I told them to go ahead. A week later a different guy came to install the new compressor and fix my ac - . After 2 hours it wasn't working. They came back 2 days later (new guys). They said that the last guy didn't balance it right. Again, they fixed it -this only lasted for an hour. They came back only to say that it will be another $806 for them to fix it. Come on, I bet you if I agreed to pay that, my a/c still wouldn't be working and it will cost me another $700 to fix it. BTW, don't go by the reviews offered from service magic. Apparently, they only post positive reviews. If you try to post a negative review they will reject it saying that your review doesn't meet their guidelines.
