So glad I found Morey. Had a different company come out to check on air conditioning unit. The guy got lost on his way here, and of course was late. He looked at it for 10 minutes and just said buy a new one, we can install it tomorrow for $5K, then wanted to come to my house to "fix" anything else he could think of. Tech from Morey got here on time, no dumb questions, thoroughly inspected and even cleaned up the unit, fixed some of the insulation that had come loose, cleaned and inspected the ducts inside and out. Then gave me several options and suggestions. Did the repairs on time without interrupting my business and even came in a little under the estimate. I now have a three year service contract with Morey and feel relieved.

Omaha A1United Heater and Air Conditioning. A1 Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration Technicians and their general manager are rude and unprofessional. They went to my house charged $90.95 to clean a sensor. They heater wasnВ’t yet working as it should. I called again and another technician came who identified apparently a second issue and to extra charge $400.00 and didnВ’t want to apply what was paid couple days before for poor service and doing nothing. His technician Mark was rude, raised his voice and didnВ’t want to leave my property В– just an unacceptable behavior. Today I faxed a letter to the owner, Mr. Barr and their management team but they care less and didnВ’t apologize. Shame on them. They shouldnВ’t be in business. If they continue practicing unethical behavior they wonВ’t be in business for too long. Shame on them! The DON"T deserve to have any customers. I contacted the BBB for a refund. ZERO stars for them. ZERO!

I hired A-1 United to service my air conditioner last year. They found the unit to be very low on Freon and replaced the Freon. They informed me that everything else looked great and charged me $365 for 5 lbs of Freon and labor. I then found that at first use this year the air conditioner was not blowing cold air again. I had someone else come to look at it and it was low on Freon again. After speaking with several HVAC service companies I've learned that the fact that my system needed 5 lbs of Freon last year pointed to an obvious leak in the system. Had A-1 United simply told me my system had a leak I would have been able to fix it last year and not have to pay for Freon twice. I called A-1 United and spoke with their service manager to discuss my concerns. He was unwilling to do anything to own up to his company's mistake. I fully believe that A-1 has a large staff of great techs but one obviously was not sent to my home. A reputable company would have understood this and taken care of their customer. I was very shocked to be so callously shrugged off by the heating and air company that is consistently rated Best of Omaha.

My husband and I were all set to buy a new furnace from Lowe's when we heard from a friend of ours that Southern California Edison could give us rebates on our installation. We found Airwest through the SCE website and called them for a quote. Dave (the owner), came out to see us. He was very professional and explained to us how the rebates worked. We liked how there were no gimmicks, no sales pressure. We just signed a contract with Airwest and look forward to seeing the kind of work they do.

AIRWORST is what they should be called. Had them install an a/c unit 4 years ago. Just found out that what they installed was not what it said on my invoice(installed a cheaper model). Not only that, I paid $95 to have them come up and tell me what was wrong with my a/c. they told me the compressor was out. I asked for a price of how much it will cost me to fix it - $931 with a 90 day parts & labor warranty. I told them to go ahead. A week later a different guy came to install the new compressor and fix my ac - . After 2 hours it wasn't working. They came back 2 days later (new guys). They said that the last guy didn't balance it right. Again, they fixed it -this only lasted for an hour. They came back only to say that it will be another $806 for them to fix it. Come on, I bet you if I agreed to pay that, my a/c still wouldn't be working and it will cost me another $700 to fix it. BTW, don't go by the reviews offered from service magic. Apparently, they only post positive reviews. If you try to post a negative review they will reject it saying that your review doesn't meet their guidelines.

This is not April Air as I've known it for 20 years.IT's been bought out. OH my god don't call these people! They tried to change me $300.00 for a $30.00 part. The tech was good but their price for a part is ridiculous. I bought the part and installed it myself. The women was so rude. They have always billed me. She wanted her money NOW! This business has brought a whole new meaning of AC Repair rip off and dishonest repairs

Recently we had our A/C serviced by April Air Conditioning. We returned home from a weekend trip to find our house hot throughout and our A/C not running. It was 10 pm when we called, and we had to pay an extra $60 to get a technician out that evening. We decided to have someone out, and about 30 - 45 mins later Bryan Hall from April arrived at our house. I told him the heat pump was not running at all, and there was only warm air coming out of the vents. After a quick check of the heat pump outside, he said there was probably a leak in the system. At this point I was a bit uncomfortable not knowing what was going on, if his assessment was correct, etc. He was very patient while I thought about what to do and did some quick searching on the internet about air conditioning problems. I asked him what the next steps were, and he said he could pressurize the system a look for a leak. I decided to have him continue, and he went up in to the attic and took the compressor apart, sprayed the copper coil with soap bubbles, and found the leak right away. I was impressed by how quickly he got this figured out, considering how hard it seems to be to find leaks sometimes, based on what I read online. At this point, he helped me decide what to do my giving me my options, and also gave me an exact quote based off a list of prices in a binder that he had with him, that covered all the types of services offered. I decided to get the leak fixed at a cost of $700 for everything. It was midnight at this point, and he was very tired, so he offered to return the next morning at 6 am, 2 hours before his scheduled shift. I agreed and met him the next morning. He got to work straight away, recovering all of the R22 refrigerant, soldering the leak closed, testing with nitrogen, installing a drier/filter, pulling a vaccuum, and adding the new refrigerant. By this time I had time to review lots of postings online about air conditioning servicing. I'm an engineer, so it was easy to absorb this quickly, and I watched closely as he did his work to verify it and to learn more from watching him. It took longer than expected due to the vacuum taking a long time, but he was patient and very thorough. He checked everything and we started the house cooling. I would highly recommend Bryan Hall from April Air Conditioning for any A/C work that you might need done at your house.

I had this company come out and clean my grandmas ducts. She built her house 24 years ago and she's never had them cleaned. She complained often of her air not being cold or pushing out as hard as it used to, and that it took hours to dry her clothes. They were in maroon and kahki pants, both were very clean. They were nice to my grandmas dogs and the put back her furnature after they went down each additional vent! Great work! The guys did a great job cleaning my heating vents, but I wasn't aware I would have to pay tax on top of the $99. Oh well, prolly not their fault, but they should've told me over the phone. I will most likely have them out to clean the furnace in the fall. They showed me that the flames were burning orange when they should be nice and blue. I appreciated that and they didn't high pressure me to do it right away. I am on a very tight budget, so unfortuantely I will need to wait with that.

Not Honest or backup their work. We had service prior to the holidays on our AC unit. Technician said everything was perfect no issues. We hosted Christmas for 15 people and our air stopped working. They came back out said nothing is wrong and charge me an other $100 dollars for the service fee. They do not know what customer service means - I strongly advise not to use them for anything
