I recently purchased a house.. It was a foreclosure and when you buy a foreclosure you get it as is .. Unfortunately there was a field of tires in my backyard. I contacted a couple different tire companies for disposal. Not many wanted to even work with me. I PLACED AN ORDER FOR ITEMS WHICH I HAD LEFT IN MY SHOPPING CART ON A PREVIOUS VISIT TO GUMPS WEBSITE. IT INCLUDED A 20% DISCOUNT. THE ORDER WAS CONFIRMED BY GUMPS, I RECEIVED AN ORDER # WHICH ALSO SHOWED MY ORDER TOTAL, LAST 4 OF MY CREDIT CARD AND THE ITEMS ORDERED. I RECEIVED AN E-MAIL THAT NIGHT SAYING THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH MY ORDER - TO CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME 20% MORE SAYING THE DISCOUNT HAD EXPIRED. I ASKED FOR A SUPERVISOR, WHO WOULD NOT APPLY THE DISCOUNT EVEN THOUGH THE ORDER HAD BEEN PLACED AND CONFIRMED. THEY'D RATHER LOSE A CUSTOMER THAN DO THE COURTEOUS THING AND HONOR THE PRICE CONFIRMED BY THEM WHEN THE ORDER WAS PLACED. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WON'T BE SHOPPING AT GUMPS EVER AGAIN. THEY'RE A SHINING EXAMPLE OF CORPORATE GREED. A FEW DOLLARS MORE IMPORTANT THAN CUSTOMER SATISFACTION OR HONORABLE BUSINESS PRACTICES.

I have had the most horrific experience ordering a wedding gift from Gump's to be shipped to the engaged on the East Coast. I have had no less than four phone conversations responding to the 8 e-mail confirmations of some other WRONG activity- ie. wrong item shipped, refund sent, replaced gift with a gift certificate without my knowledge as well as sending the same 1/2 of the gift THREE times! What happened to the upscale store Gump's once was! I can't even get a supervisor on the phone! Amazing! When I asked for the phone number for the corporate offices I was assured that ""they won't do anything for you- they will just have me fix it anyway"". This will be my last visit to Gump's for certain!

HORRIBLE customer service ! I bought a brand new playard in the box USED it once and wouldn't replace it! Basically said I broke it! I had purchased one six months ago and it broke so I PAID for another one again let my daughter use it one time and the side broke. Spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars in this store but will never go again. Horrible way to treat people. Shame on them!

This is the only place to go for kids clothes. All name brand and excellent condition. The only downside is selling items. I bought 3 kids wardrobes from here, some were barely worn, and they would only accept things I brought with tags. I gave my sister the remaining items to sell at a garage sale, she decided to go back a week later here and they bought almost everything. Kind of shady on the selling part.

I brought in some clothes the other day, it was a dark headed girl and a blond headed girl. They did not take anything. They just told me it was condition? I have no clue what that means. But my clothes are perfectly fine, I had all sorts of cute Hollister and Abercrombie clothes and they took none of those, just my nasty target stuff. Then I asked a girl with blond curly hair to get down a dress for me. She looked at me like she was annoyed I asked her and then handed me the dress rudely and walked off all mad looking! I will never come back to drop off clothes or shop here. They took nothing and the service was horrible, and they are completely overpriced for being a used clothing store.

You will find some products around the store that are close to or even past its best by date. This does not mean the product is bad and in almost every case you will have a hard time differentiating between the product before and after the best by date. Warning!!! Do not go to this location. I wish I would had read the reviews before going here and wasting my time. Very, very, very poor customer service skills from all the employees. The store is a mess, can barely walk around the store. Not sure what the employees actually do besides sit behind the counter and talk to each other. Felt very uncomfortable in the store due to the employees snobby and rude attitudes. Went to once upon a child to try to get rid of my sons baby stuff. When I walked into the store was not greeted, just starred at, when I approached the counter the lady working ,wish I would of gotten her name, said to me "Did you call us ahead of time to see if we even want any of your stuff." Took my time cleaning and folding all the clothes, which most were only worn a couple times, they didn't even take the time to look at any of the clothes except three PJ sets were on the top. Brought in a brand new, only use a coulple times, pack n play, which they denied right away after basically demanding me to set it up, because she claimed there was stains which in reality I had just gotten done cleaning it and it wasn't dry all the way yet so it looked like it was stained. I told her to feel it, its just a little damp still and she in a very rude judgemental way said "well it smells. " After 2 hours of very poor customer service later they bought only three sets of clothes and 2 walker toys. Atleast that's what she told me, after getting back home I noticed that other items I brought in were not returned to me. Do not waste your time at this location unless you like dirty,snobby, judgmental, thieves.

This store mainly caters to clothing - they have many, many articles of clothing all nicely organized. They have a good selection of jean pants, for 5.99 each if I remember right. Great selection of skirts. The *best* selection of *all* types of shirts I've ever seen, bar none. I've found plenty of "brand new" (tag still intact) clothes at this store. Also found many things that would normally cost quite a lot. I believe shirts are around 3.50 each? There's a great selection of knits, too. There aren't typically a lot of men's ties, but you never know. They have a great selection of shoes. And as far as non-clothing related items go --- they have an *absolutely fantastic* selection of dishes - if you need dishes (from practically brand new to vintage), this is a great store for that, in my opinion. Lots of electronics in the back of the store. They do have furniture as well, but not usually a large selection. Anyway this is only a short list of some of the stuff they have. But as I said before, if you're looking for (recycled) clothing, this is the place for it.
