On Monday i took my truck into Randys to have my lug nuts looked at as they may possibly be bad and stripped due to some one that work their over tightening them. I went back in today to have them put new ones on and an oil change and was confronted by the owner telling me they would only replace the few that were bad and not all (I was told all would be replaced on monday). After that the owner came put and told me that they didn't do it, it couldn't have been them (mind you they are the only place I go for car maintenance and they rotated my tires last). I was told by the front desk that they told me I should have left my truck there on Monday when I asked the mechanic on Monday if I could drive it home until Friday which he stated yes it's safe. So not only did they put words into my mouth that I never said and also they lied about the service they would provide. I never had this problem before with them, but after today I will no longer be taking my cars to Randys for service. I will also not recommend anyone else taking theirs there either. The owners and staff didn't want to hear me out or talk it out so they do not believe in customer satisfaction. |

Friday me and the girlfriend took the steak and went to Tony Romas we order some wine and when the waitress comeby to take our order I put the steak on the table and ask her to cook it well done , next thing you know we were escorted out by manager and the waitress. What a dumb people they are , so I told the girlfriend we would take our steak elsewhere. The moral of my story is not everybody willing to the job like the guy with the brake job wants to do, I am sure there are places do that kind of work , but who will stand behind the job when something goes wrong , Is he willing to pay labor again to get the job done right ? |

Stopped by Fleming's Auto Service & Repair to do it all. I asked if they could do this while we had lunch and the response was absolutely. We walked across the street to a Bar & Grill and had great burgers and margaritas! They had a full menu with a lot of items, but we just wanted burgers. Lunch took about an hour and we walked back across the street to check on the car. To our surprise, it was all done and more. While they were changing the oil, they found some loose stuff on the front bumper & grill and fixed that too. They topped off all of the fluids, changed the oil & filter, fixed the loose stuff, cleaned the windows, and ran it thru the car wash all for about the price of an oil change at Walmart with competitively priced gas. I would highly recommend Fleming's Auto Service & Repair to anyone needing an oil change or other service & repair. |

They changed my fuel pump and in doing so messed up all my electronic gauges. My truck ran out of gas because of this (the same day I picked it up) and they charged me the full price of the tow. When I advised my gas light never came on and the range icon that I always used in the past to tell me what my gas level is (part of my dash is out) was advising I had a full tank, and my gas light never came on to advise I was low on gas. I was then told by Brian that because my dash was out I am not able to use that gauge, and I never have been-this is what he told me. (Excuse me I have used that gauge to keep track of my gas level for two years.) He also advised that I can not see my odometer (I have a picture of that, which I can clearly see both of these are located on the steering wheel not the dash) Now I filled my tank and NOW my gas light is on advising I am almost out of gas. They messed up my gauges and now am telling me they will not fix them back and charged me for a tow that was clearly their fault because my gauges are no longer working, but they worked before I took it there. BEWARE!!! FYI they also jacked up the price of a tire on me on my previous visit there. Before I NEEDED the tire the cost was $70 but when they discovered my tire could not be fixed and I had to have the tire to drive away, all of the sudden the price of the same tire jumped up to $80. They are crooks BEWARE, take you vehicle elsewhere you will be saving yourself money. |

I took my truck in for service and the whole thing snowballed. 3800 dollars later, I had a new front end and was ready to roll. I do believe that the truck needed the work. The problem is, I just had an alignment and tires put on and lo and behold, my track bar is shot. That was one of the parts Garry's replaced 2 years ago. I know, 2 years is a long time. The truck was at 145,598 when I had it installed. The truck is now at 146,231. Less than a thousand miles and I am looking at just over 6 bills to fix it. Makes me wonder about the hub assemblies and other work that was done. I have since moved on to Master Tech just down the road largely because I was unhappy about the way I ended up spending 3800 big ones at Garry's. I have always received good advice from Master Tech and they know their trucks! |

It had several rock chips and the way it was removed chipped the edges of the glass, making it prone to spread with a large crack. The professional putting it in for me kept shaking his head in unbelief they would sell me a windshield as crappy as this one. I called to get a refund and they were VERY rude. He was cornered into letting them start the repairs since they told him since they started working on it, he owed them $500 labor already. so since he was already in it, he expected it all to be fixed. What''s most upsetting is that everytime we called in the mechanic was "on a service call". Now they've paid over 2K, only to be in the same boat and broke now with no way to get to work because of these CROOKS! He rented a pickup for over 2 weeks and they kept saying "it's almost done, but the mechanic is on a service call" ..so they cost him another $500 plus on that! |

A buddy of mine from high school kept going on and and on about these guys until I finally took my car with no suspension there. Finally he wore me down and I went there. Boy am I glad I did. I went with my buddy, who hasn't been there in maybe 4 years, and the owner recognized him immediately and remembered exactly what car my friend brought in. Went over prices and how long repairs would take and it was literally half the price as the other two shops I asked earlier that week. Four years later I went back with a different car and, to my surprise, he instantly remembered me and the car I had brought in before. If I didn't live on the outskirts of town I would take my car there for my oil changes. Great honest guys here. |

But there was another problem. There was damage to the wheel in the form of a huge gash that traveled across about 2/3 of it. I was told it would be repaired and sent to me the next business day. It took over a week for me to get it and it didn't end up being repaired. Five months later, after numerous conversations, texts, and emails, I am still waiting for this to be resolved. 4/24/15, I was contacted and told they would purchase and send me a wheel. Two weeks later I still hadn't heard anything so I contacted them and found out they couldn't find a replacement week. I got online and found a used one in minutes that matches my current ones and sent the link to my salesperson. I also called Chevy and found out they can order a new one that way but I am still waiting for it to be taken care of. Overall, I am very unsatisfied with their customer service skills. |

Mayo's diagnostic technicians also leave at 4:00p everyday,and do not work on weekends, according to the staff. Of course I was not told this information when I called in that morning. After 4 days and a few more unfriendly phone interactions, I was finally informed that a diagnosis has been made. The invoice was faxed to me back in baltimore, MD, and the charges were 732.00.... 32.00 for parts, 700 for service. As I was aware that their policy was 95$ per hour for service, I called often to ask when they were working on the vehicle, but was not told until AFTER 6 hours of labor. Despite my fury regarding the charges, I choose to pay. Now the real problems began. Being an out-of-state customer (again never informed of this information when I brought the car there) I was denied the ability to pay by check or credit card. Furthermore, when I proposed that a relative pay on my behalf, as he lives 12mins from the shop and was a previous customer, i was first told that it was fine, and then 2 days later recieved a forward message saying: ". management has decided that you [in particular] are only allowed to pay by cash in person, [for the reason being] because ' you cant trust us, we cant trust you' ".... verbaetum.... I then had to drive 4 hours from baltimore to red bank to drop off 732.00 in cash, only to receive a functional vehicle with the speakers disconnected and an empty gas tank. Thank you Mayo for terrible and dishonest service. |

My car's air conditioner went out and the battery was also at it's end. I needed to pick my daughter up at O'Hare, the next day. Someone mentioned they had a repair done at Lakeshore and I just barely made it to the station as my gauge was about to hit the red line. I explained my situation to Dennis who assured me he would look at it, even though he had many vehicles that day, and said I should be able to pick it up by noon on the 18th. He found my daughter and I a ride back to her place and had the car ready to go by 6:00 p.m. ! Service was very friendly, professional and respectful. I definately recommend Lakeshore Mobil!
