I'd never heard of this restaurant when I was asked to do a mystery shop for brunch. That was over a year ago and I've been back at least once per month since - always for brunch. It quickly became my 'go to' spot to celebrate birthdays, which, as luck would have it, have all fallen on weekends. I've tried the eggs benedict, eggs Benedict on crab cakes, and French toast. Guests have had omelets and lunch items. Meals are served with delicious mini muffins. Not only is the food tasty, but the view overlooking the harbor is what makes this my favorite spot to take guests.

Rennie's is my usual weekend hotspot whenever I get a chance to attend Duck Football games. It is typically crowded with plenty of students who are too cheap to pay a cover. Its great for groups and enjoying the people atmosphere. If one is to go in a group, get there EARLY. Finding a table or a spot in the bar can be a nightmare at times. While there is no cover charge, the alcohol sold is fairly reasonable. A pitcher of beer can range from $7-14 and even a hard drink like an A.M.F is nothing more than $4.50.

Keep wallking on to another venue would be my best advice. The quite extensive menu here suggests they are fully prepared to serve lunch items in a timely manner. Au contraire. After waiting for our ordered food for 1 hour + , we were starved and had to leave. The manager claimed the kitchen is small and there is only one oven. A good suggestion would be to limit the menu to items that can be handled by the facility and avoid having to string patrons on with lame excuses. Also, the outdoor seating is extremely noisy. Be prepared to scream to be heard by your dining companions.

This place is called Guppy's on the BEACH. We were on the beach and showed up in shorts and/or sundresses over our bathing suits and were turned away. In this economy what restaurants can afford to turn paying patrons away? We were a party of 4 so they missed out --we love to spend money LOL so we went down the road to spend out money elsewhere ---- will NEVER go back to this place again!! I sent an email to the corporate office, and no one even seemed to care and never got any response.

After reviewing the menu with high hopes, we were very disappointed with what appeared on the plate. I ordered the sausage skillet. The home fries seemed to be from a frozen bag instead of home made. The country gravy did not seem to be made fresh and the eggs had a certain plastic like rigidity to them which lead us to believe they had either been microwaved or under a heat lamp. The service was good. Our waitress was attentive and the restaurant was clean. The poor quality of the food will prevent us from frequenting this establishment again.

I went in to watch the ufc fight there and first thing was the owner swearing out on the front porch then we ordered food boneless wings took an hour no blu cheese on side had to ask for it ordered water was told even tho in bottles it was free with refills on check was charged 5 dollars for the water the owner told the waitress no refills for water. Waitress was good food ok over horrible place never will go back

Have eaten here 4 times - 2 dinners and 2 lunches. I cannot recommend this place enough! It is without a doubt the best restaurant we've been to in town. We don't go out to eat very often, so when we do we want to make it count! The sandwich and soup combo at lunch is ridiculously amazing - and the homemade chips are worth a whole review on their own! Only on one visit was the service a little below par. but other visits made up for it in spades. I highly recommend the Pork Tenderloin for dinner. And of course their dessert case is very drool worthy. Looking forward to a visit next month for a birthday celebration!
