We have been using this shop for years and never had a mishap until recently. We took our car in to have the transmission fluid flushed which is a basic simple job. The transmision itself was running perfectly. We get a call several hours later that while they took it out to test drive the transmission somehow burned up and now we would need to pay $6,000 to fix it. It went from $100 to $6,000! This should have been where we stopped going there but felt maybe they were being honest so decided to continue giving them business. We had another relative go in to have a wire fixed because his head lights were not turning on. The shop said the part would cost around $300 so my relative paid that and picked the car up. The following day the lights would not work again so he took it back. Now the shop says there's another part needed that would be around $600. Just total BS. Luckily my relative was able to find the new part online and took it elsewhere and saved almost $400. The final incident was a repair to my car window. 2 years ago on a trip to Salinas my driver window would not roll up. We took the car to Doug's and they attempted to try and glue it in place. I was charged $300 for a glue job and it seemed to wpork for about a week. We called them to let them know the windo was still not working so Douf said next time I'm in town bring it by and they wou.d just charge for a new part to be installed not the labor. This past December I was in town so took my car back to Doug. He said it needs a new window regulator which cost $162. Several hours later my car was ready and the window worked for about 3 more weeks. I cou.ld not roll it up or down at all so had to take it to my local mechanic is San Diego. After they took everything apart and looked at the work Doug's shop did, they called and asked me to come down. There was not a new regulator put in at all and the glue job they did was crooked and ruined my glass. Not only did I need a window regulator I now needed a new window! The regulator was going to cost $110 (a lot cheaper then the supposed regulator Doug put in for $162). When I called Doug to ask him about this he denied saying he put in a window regulator and he only put a new ""rail"" on the current regulator I had. Still don't see how that would cost more then an entire new regulator. Thankfully my San Diego mechanics got it fixed and sent me home with the old parts so I could see just how bad I was ripped off. Dishonesty will get you no where and I look forward to sharing this story with everyone from my hometown of Salinas.

This is where hell broke loose and customer service went out the window I pull up this guy named miked asked what I needed I told him about the led bar and Tv and his exact response was "idk you didn't talk to me about it maybe you should talk to they guy who sold it too you " i was in disbelief on what I was hearing he then called or txt Chris to see what I had ordered then he says ok leave me your keys and we will see when we can get to it... I was like are you kidding me ? Like how about a hour or three or an answer like that ... Nope he continued it could be at six pm or maybe not even today with a real snobby selfish attitude toward me mind you this is going on in front of my wife and young daughter who were just disgusted in how this man was treating us like he was doing us a favor.... At this point I just told the guy you know what I would just like my money back I don't actually need this its just a luxury ...the guy didn't even blink he said well the only thing you can do is talk to Chris when he gets back and you guys can work something out ... Seriously I left glad to have my bar and tv but I had trouble right off the bat with the led bar wind was coming in thru the window and just recently it rained and my seats and electrical got damaged .... I called again this time asking to speak with a manager and guess who the manager was MIKE I cannot believe that's the face of the guy representing that company ... And here we go again I told him about the trouble with the led bar no help. Chris is nice so is the installers

I love my escort and my car alarm and especially my remote starter. It is really great on cold mornings after Sadhana. Everything I have gotten here has been perfect. Once a year in June I drive up and down 31-mile road 10 days in a row for our Summer Solstice. The bumpy dirt road is hard on everything in your car. Fixed my car fast. It cost me $997. They fixed a few things and changed my coolant for me bc apparently it was dirty. Original problem was a bad thermostat. Got it back yesterday. Today i am sitting on the side of the rd with my three small children, waiting for my car to cool down. Overheated because they forgot to tighten the fitting and all my coolant leaked out. Now i get to put water in it so i can make it to the store to go buy coolant to put in. Not very happy at all. A simple mistake has cost my children and me so far over an hour of hassle on this hot day and my bf hassle of coming to find the problem.

If you are shopping for windows, look elsewhere! We built our home in West Kaysville in 2001. We bought our windows from Sanders Glass. We paid premium for windows with a lifetime warranty so that we would never have to worry about them. Within 3 years our windows started to fail. The seals broke leaving us with windows that turned brownish gold that you cant even see through. Sanders glass refuses to do anything about it saying that it is a manufacturer problem and that The manuf. has gone out of business. Since then all 22 windows in the front of our home have failed. Aprox. 4 per year. They will only fix them if we pay $100 per window.-on LIFETIME warrantied windows! They will take NO responsibility and have no integrity on standing behind what they sell

March 26, 2015...I believe this is the Longo family business. I haven't been back for a year but I was so impressed not only by their service but by their warm and friendly and helpful staff. I went there for an inspection and asked that certain things be checked at the same time. Great service! I found Manny's at Yellowpages.com about 3 years ago and have been meaning to write this review. I have been bringing my car only here now for service and maintenance. They are fair, trustworthy, kind and honestly try to save you some bucks if they can. The shop is clean and well organized. They always discuss in full with me what I want done, and then give a full explanation of the bill again at pick up. Very thorough! I highly recommend them.
