Laurel has more than 20 years of experience in medical clinics and private practice. Although trained in several styles of cupuncture, both Chinese and Japanese, she specializes in Japanese acupuncture in the style of Kiiko Matsumoto. In this style, touch is used for instant feedback and verification of treatment. This integrates the work of many Japanese masters and study of the Chinese classics. She only treats one patient at a time because her treatments are very hands-on and individualized.
